The SHG – Saarland-Heilstätten GmbH, headquartered in Saarbrücken, is a non-profit corporation under public law. Serving as the operator of hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, outpatient services, medical care centers, and a senior center, the SHG Group is dedicated to healthcare provision. Around 5,000 highly qualified employees and state-of-the-art medical equipment ensure optimal care for patients and rehabilitation patients.

Tâches du volontaire :

The main areas of voluntary service include nursing, elderly care, social work, psychology, and working with people with disabilities.

The volunteers will will be in communication with the Human Resources department to discuss their background, interests, and career aspirations. This dialogue will allow them to understand each volunteer’s strengths, preferences, and areas of expertise. Whether the volunteers have a passion for nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, special education, or podiatry, they will work to provide opportunities that allow them to utilize and develop their skills in their chosen field.

Volunteers will share a room with another volunteer.

Motivated young people have a good knowledge of German language.

The organisation is seeking a youngster willing to commit to a stay of between 6 and 12 months.
