Tâches du volontaire:

Activities:

The volunteer will work five days a week, usually for 8 hours a day, with weekends off.

The regular program is from Monday to Friday between: 10.00-18.00, with a lunch break of 1 hour. It is possible that, for specific circumstances, the volunteer will be asked to work on weekends. When it is necessary for the volunteer to work a day during the weekend, s/he will receive days off during the following week ensuring that 2 consecutive days off are offered each week.

Part of this volunteering mission will also take place in the YOUth Art Festival in the city of Câmpina. For a few days the volunteers will be doing the workshops on Sustainability in the city of Câmpina, as well as participating in the Festival.

The volunteer’s main activity will be based on the following three activities:

Eco-echo Club

  • Implement a set of 6 workshops related to the sustainability in general, and to the Eco-echo Club theme in particular;
  • Facilitate the aforementioned workshops in the organisation’s partnered institutions;
  • Participate in any other activities related to sustainability organised/promoted by the organisation.

Target: 50 groups, each of them getting 6 workshops – total 300 workshops delivered

Activism Collectors

  • Create content online related to the organisation’s activities (photos, videos, reels, articles, podcast etc);
  • Oversee the social media’s accounts of the organisation for a limited period of time;
  • Create interviews with young activists;

Target: min 1 interview per month

Community Days

  • Organising youth events.

Target: min 1 event per month

Gesichten Profil

Young people from the European Union member state countries (6 people):

  • be between 18 to 30 years old on the starting date of the mobility;
  • be interested in this project’s themes;
  • be a good communicator, have responsibility and proactivity and be interested in the European Solidarity Corps programme and so recognize the value of being part of a project like this one;
  • A priority will be given to young people with fewer opportunities;
  • Strong motivation/previous experience in the field of environmental activism.
