Beschreiwung vun der Missioun:
During the "Solidarity in Primorska" project, Park Istra will host a group of up to 15 volunteers for 61 days (59 days + 2 traveling days). Volunteers will help people in need and support local communities and NGO-s all over our region. If you would like to help, get many new skills and work in a group of volunteers from all over Europe, our volunteer center is a great place to be.
We can accommodate volunteers either from September 9th to November 8th, or for a two-month duration starting on either February 15th or April 15th, within the timeframe spanning from the middle of February to the middle of July
Aufgaben vum Volontaire:
We will help people in need, help locals with farming, help people with construction and renovation, organize workshops for kids, help in animal shelters, help the local Red Cross and other NGO-s, participate at local cultural events, clean overgrown terraces and paths, organize clean-up actions, help in elderly homes… To accomplish all that, we need many helping hands.
Have in mind that most of the work we do is with our hands, but we will also work with kids, elderly, especially if you are interested in it. If you decide so, you can also work on your personal project.
Our work is really diverse, so we are not looking for specific profiles, but we are searching for volunteers who have enthusiasm, motivation for hard work and a will to learn new skills.

Learning from each other, sharing, taking care for each other, resolving conflicts, compromises –we will practice all this during your stay in Park Istra ☺
Gesichte Profil:
Park Istra welcomes volunteers interested in various topics related to sustainability, environment protection and charity. The main characteristics that we will look for, are volunteers who are strong motivated to assist others, are willing to put in hard work, and are open to communal living.
Volunteers with fewer opportunities have an advantage.
