DATES CAN BE ADJUSTED ACCORDING TO BOTH THE VOLUNTEERS’ AND OUR NEEDS, BY TAILORING THE DURATION OF THE PROJECT TOGETHER WITH BEYOND BORDERS ORGANISATION.
Tâches du volontaire :
The activities that Beyond Borders implements with the support of its local and international volunteers are based on 4 main pillars:
1) Volunteering in the field of Local Youth
What will you do?
-Organizing, promoting and implementing local educational events.
-Having the chance to develop your own projects/ideas
-Connecting and team working with local Youth
2) Volunteering in the field of charity
What will you do?
-Learning to cook traditional Italian food while gaining knowledge in the field of direct solidarity
-Logistical support of charity local distribution points by cooking and packing meals, distributing packaged food
-Boosting your soft skills, especially time management and working in a team!
3) Volunteering in the field of education
What will you do?
-Leading and managing groups of students
-Getting more experienced in non-formal education methodologies
-Boosting your leadership and self-confidence skills!
4) Volunteering in the field of International Youth
What will you do?
-Experiencing the magic of non-formal education in an intercultural environment while supporting logistics and activities implementation and ameliorating your ability to manage both tasks and time!
-Learning more about Erasmus+ mobility projects organizational management
-Building a bridge with EU, creating new friendships and potential new connections for future projects that you could create/join!
Other tasks:
Support the development of youth through the implementation of activities such as contact making events, intercultural meetings, study visits and volunteering personal projects;
Improving language skills through linguistic tandems, time bank, movie nights, public book and poems reading, etc.;
Enriching digital and communication competences through website and social media accounts development;
Fostering EU project management skills through designing workshops and activities;
Creating and organizing cultural events using various types of art (music, theatre, graffiti, mosaics, photography, comics, etc.)
Profil recherché :
We would like to invite someone who enjoys and loves to work with youngsters.
